The steel in every Rammer rockbreaker is 100 per cent recyclable


-  Rammer, the leading supplier of smart rockbreaker technology is also steadily working to improve their sustainability with an aim to become the clear, recognized industry leader in sustainability. 

As part of Sandvik, Rammer is committed to working towards more sustainable future. During last couple of years, Rammer have reduced their CO2 emissions by half, improved recyclability throughout their value chain and prioritized sustainability in their product development. 

As part of continuous process improvement Rammer is minimizing waste and increasing recycling rates. The steel in every Rammer rockbreaker is 100% recyclable and earlier this year Rammer started to recover packaging and have returned over 12,000 kg of plywood packaging to their suppliers for re-use. 

Rammer factory in Finland uses 100 % carbon-free green heat 

Reducing carbon footprint and emissions at Rammer factory sites is a vital part of the sustainability plan. This year Rammer factory will have reduced 500 tonnes of its CO2 emissions from energy consumption, halving their emissions compared to previous year. And that's only the start, since the Rammer factory has also switched to clean CO2 electricity and uses 100% carbon-free green heat that means that the heating of the Rammer factory site is completely emission free.
